The domain now shows a holding page offering itself for sale. ### Wondeme Store unavailable Photo-based personalized books quoted at $34.99 in recent comparison posts, including its own. The store returns a Shopify unavailable response. ## How to Choose Between Personalized Book Companies Five questions settle most of these decisions, and price is rarely the one that does it. A $30 spread across the whole group matters far less than ending up with a book your child doesn't recognize as themselves. - **Does the hero need to look like your child?** The avatar builders at Wonderbly, Hooray Heroes and Librio ask you to approximate your child from preset hair, skin and eye options. KD Novelties, Create-A-Book and Dinkleboo don't even do that much, since only the name changes. Photo-based illustration at Magic Story, Adorabook, Story Bug, KidTeller and Little Hero Book gets you an actual likeness. The narrower the preset menu, the further the printed child drifts from yours. - **Do you want control over the words?** Most of this category prints a fixed story. That's a different date from the price checks above, and we track it separately on purpose: the five companies checked on August 3, 2026 have prices from that day and specifications from this one. Where a cell reads "Not published", we loaded the product pages and the company states no figure. One exception to the product-page rule, stated so you can weigh it yourself: Little Hero Book's own 28 pages and 11 by 8.5 inch trim are confirmed by us and not read off a page, because this comparison is currently the only place we publish them. Two prices on this page were promotional on the day we looked. Dinkleboo was selling at $17.99 against a $35.99 list price, and KidTeller showed $6.65 and $39.99 against $8.87 and $53.32. Pottery Barn Kids is the clearest route in the US and publishes Disney Pixar Toy Story and Finding Nemo personalized storybooks, including a Toy Story Ultimate Collection and a Toy Story 4 title. Its product pages wouldn't load for our automated checks, so no price is quoted here.
