The Story
It starts with a grey lump in the backyard mud, with a fern pattern pressed into it and hard as stone. One sibling found it, the other did the digging, and both of them have hold of it. Neither lets go. Their parent tells them that dinosaurs ruled the earth for 165 million years because they stuck together, then heads back inside. That is when the fossil starts to glow.
The two of them land in hot, thick mud in a prehistoric jungle. A dinosaur foot comes down beside them, bigger than both of them put together. Something fast moves through the ferns, and one grabs the other's hand and they run. Then a giant pterosaur lands, crouches low, and lets them climb on. From the sky they spot the amber glow that will take them home, and the only way back is to jump into it, holding hands.

Questions About Stuck Together
Is Stuck Together good for siblings who fight?
That is the whole story. It opens with two siblings who will not let go of the same rock and ends with them holding hands, without a lecture anywhere in between. They make it home because they stop fighting and help each other.
Is it too scary for a younger child?
The tense moments are short: a dinosaur foot landing nearby, something rustling in the ferns, a big flying reptile. Nobody gets hurt, and each scene ends with the two of them looking after each other. We list it for ages 2 to 10.
Who do I need photos of?
Three people: the older child, the younger child, and the parent who appears at the start and the end. Each of them is illustrated from their own photo.
How is Stuck Together personalized?
You upload a photo of each character and type in their name. The story is already written, so your child's name goes into the text and every illustration is drawn from your photos, keeping them recognizable from the first page to the last. Before anything is printed you get the full editor: change any word, regenerate any illustration you are not happy with, and write your own dedication.
How much does it cost, and how long does delivery take?
$34.99 for the 26-page premium hardcover, plus shipping at checkout: $8.24 to the United States or $6.65 to Australia. Each book is printed to order once you approve it and arrives in 7 to 11 business days.
