Free Coloring Pages for Kids

Everything we draw and everything we generate, in one place. Hand-drawn unicorn and dinosaur scenes, all twenty-six letters of the alphabet, any child’s name as giant bubble letters, and a tool that turns your own photo into line art. No account, no email, no watermark, no limit on how many you print.

Straight to a Letter

Each letter has its own sheet, with the sound it makes and how it is written.

Printable Coloring Pages Without the Hunt

Looking for a colouring sheet online is a worse experience than it has any right to be. Most results want an email address before they hand anything over, hide the download behind three redirects, or give you a low-resolution image with a watermark across the middle of it. Everything on this page is simply here: click, print, done. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to dismiss.

Every sheet is drawn as a tall portrait image at print resolution with a generous margin, so it comes out sharp on A4 and on US Letter without cropping the border. Printing sends only the drawing, full page, with the rest of the site hidden.

Choosing by Age, Not by Subject

Parents pick colouring sheets by what the child likes, which is reasonable, but the thing that actually decides whether a page gets finished is the size of the smallest enclosed shape on it. A three-year-old needs large areas and unambiguous boundaries and will abandon anything fiddly within a few minutes. A seven-year-old finds those same sheets boring and wants somewhere to be precise.

So for the youngest: the letter O, a name sheet with the outlines set to thick, the erupting volcano, the birthday cake. For older children who want a project: the unicorn flower meadow, the underwater sea dinosaurs, the feathered jungle seen from above. Each set page says which of its five sheets falls where.

Colouring Their Own Name and Their Own Face

The generators are the part worth knowing about. A child who will not sit still for a printed unicorn will sit for their own name in letters as tall as their hand, because it belongs to them. The name coloring page generator handles any spelling, accents and double-barrelled names included, and the photo to coloring page tool does the same thing with their face — entirely in the browser, so the picture never leaves your device.

When They Would Rather Write Than Colour

Colouring a letter is the step before writing it. When that step is done, the free name tracing worksheets build a handwriting sheet from your child’s name with the guide lines in the right places, and the handwriting worksheet generator does the same for the alphabet, numbers, spelling lists or any sentence you type.

Why All of This Is Free

Because of what we actually make: personalized children’s books where your own child is the hero of the story, illustrated from their photo, with their name printed through every page. The printables cost us nothing to give away and they are how most families find us. If the colouring goes down well, the book is the version that survives being loved.

Coloring Page Questions

Are all of these coloring pages really free?

Yes. Every sheet and every generator on this page is free, with no account, no email address and no watermark. Print one, print a hundred. We make personalized storybooks for children, and the free printables are how most families find us. That is the whole arrangement.

What is the difference between the drawn sets and the generators?

The unicorn, dinosaur and birthday sets are hand-drawn scenes: five fixed sheets each, drawn as detailed line art. The generators build a sheet in your browser from something you give them (a letter, a name, or a photo), so the result is different every time and personal to your child.

Do I need to install or sign up for anything?

No. Everything here works in the browser you are reading this in. The generators run entirely on your device, which is why the photo tool never uploads your picture anywhere.

Do they print on A4 and US Letter?

Both. Every sheet is drawn as a tall portrait area with a margin built in, so it scales to either paper size without cropping. Choose "Fit to page" in your print dialog if your printer offers it.

Can I save them as PDFs?

Yes. Press Print and choose "Save as PDF" as the destination instead of a printer. That is the easiest way to build one file with a whole alphabet or a party's worth of sheets in it.

Can I use these in a classroom or at a party?

Yes. Teachers, childminders, homeschool parents, nurseries and party hosts are welcome to print as many copies as they need. The only thing we ask is that you link back rather than re-hosting the files elsewhere or selling them.

Which should I print for a three-year-old?

Something with big enclosed shapes and not much else. The letter O, a name sheet with thick outlines, the erupting volcano from the dinosaur set, or the birthday cake. Avoid the detailed sheets. The flower meadow and the underwater scene are lovely and will be abandoned in four minutes.

What paper should I use?

Plain printer paper is fine for crayons and coloured pencils. For felt tips, use the heaviest paper your printer will take and put a spare sheet underneath, because markers go straight through ordinary 80gsm and mark the table.
