Name Coloring Pages for Any Name, Not Just the Common Twenty

Printable name coloring pages usually mean one of two things: a pack of the twenty most common names, or a paid printable someone sells you on Etsy. Neither helps if your child is called Maëlys, Zayn or Ottilie. This generator builds the page around whatever you type, the moment you type it, so every child gets their own name rather than the closest available match.

The whole thing runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored on a server, and there is no sign-up wall between you and the print button. Type a name, choose the letters, print. If you want to keep a copy, choose “Save as PDF” in the print dialog instead of a printer, and the sheet lays out correctly on both A4 and US Letter.

The two arrangements do different jobs. Across is the one that makes the letters as big as the paper allows: it puts the name on one line, splits a first and middle name a word per line, and breaks a long name over two or three lines rather than letting it shrink. Stacked runs the name vertically instead, one letter down the page. The letters come out smaller, but it is exactly the shape you want for a bedroom door sign.

The doodles in the margins switch with one tap. Hearts fills them with hearts, flowers, stars and clouds; Rockets swaps in rockets, planets, lightning bolts and stars; and Mixed takes from both, which is what you want when you are printing a page for every child in a class rather than for one at home.

Colouring Their Name Is How Recognising It Starts

Before a child can write their name, they have to be able to pick it out. Colouring a letter means looking at that letter carefully for several minutes, which is far more attention than any flashcard gets. It is why name colouring tends to land just before name tracing does, usually somewhere around three.
